Silvana M. Yanichevsky is a Regional Tax Manager for LATAM at TaxUpdate. She also worked as a Senior in the International Tax Department at PwC Argentina and as a Tax Lawyer in the tax and international tax department of the most important multinational law firms and companies in Argentina (among others, Baker & McKenzie, Accenture).

From an academic standpoint, she is an International Tax Law expert graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, with an LLM in International Taxation from the University of Florida, USA, and a master’s in finance from the University of CEMA, Argentina. She is also an Internationally Certified Compliance (IFCA – AAEC). She was a teacher at the University of Buenos Aires until December 2015 and gave several lectures and seminars on tax and compliance-related matters. She is an author of several articles and a co-author of articles and books of her areas of expertise.

Silvana is a member of the Buenos Aires Federal District Bar, the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the Tax Studies Argentine Association (AAEF), the International Federation of Compliance Associations through the Ethics & Compliance Argentine Association (IFCA - AAEC), and of Women in Compliance (WiC).
