The goal of the course is to provide a critical overview of Portuguese constitutional law both within Western constitutionalism and the current trans-national crossroads. Therefore, the course looks at five fundamental fields: Constitutionalism; the Constitution and Constitutional Law; Fundamental Principles of the Constitutional State; Legislative Duties; Oversight and constitutionality.
