The Criminal Law team is composed of specialists that have conducted research and published in the classic fields of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure, as well as in the narrower issues of criminal liability of legal persons, economic criminal law and criminal antitrust, the law of regulatory offences and regulation carried out by independent administrative authorities. Some of the team’s researchers have been recently dedicated to the study of criminal mediation, as well as of the application of traditional categories of criminal law to new political, social and economic dimensions, such as the criminal law of risk, the relationship between criminal law and challenges posed by terrorism and organised and cross-border crime.
