75 years of the European Convention on Human Rights
25 years of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the EU

The Faculty of Law at the Universidade Católica Portuguesa is organising a Conference | Celebrating Human Rights in Europe this fall to commemorate two significant milestones: the 75th anniversary of the European Convention on Human Rights and the 25th anniversary of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.

This event will offer an opportunity to reflect on the key contributions for the protection of human rights across Europe, as well as to discuss the current and future challenges in this field. To mark the occasion, the Faculty of Law will host a two-day event, beginning at the Porto School on the 17th of November and concluding at the Lisbon Campus on 21st of November.
