In this course, students develop their knowledge of issues concerning corporate mergers and corporate acquisitions, phenomena with various affinities and connections in the corporate world, but that invoke various fields in the legal system. In this regard, corporate mergers are studied in the context of corporate concentrations; an overview is provided of the ways corporate mergers can take place; the regime for corporate mergers is presented; knowledge of Contract Law is strengthened, as used in transactions over corporate assets and liabilities.
