Bio

Visiting Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He holds a Law Degree from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (2006) and a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) with a dissertation on “The Problems and the Controls of the New Administrative State of the European Union” (2012). He was Emile Noël Fellow at New York University and won scholarships both from FCT – Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT is the Portuguese public agency that supports science, technology and innovation) and Fundação Luso-Americana para o Desenvolvimento (Luso-American Development Foundation). He teaches primarily in the field of The Law of European Union. Presently works at the Legal Department of the Portuguese Central Bank (Banco de Portugal).
