The Lisbon Climate Conference returns for its 4th edition, taking place on 29–30 September 2026. The conference will bring together leading scholars and practitioners to examine one of the most pressing and rapidly evolving issues in international climate litigation: Climate Change and Reparations.
We invite submissions from scholars and practitioners, including early-career researchers and Ph.D. candidates.
Please submit an abstract of approximately 500 words in English by 1 June 2026 to: lisbonclimateconference@gmail.com
Submissions must include a CV, including email address and institutional affiliation. Only one abstract per person will be considered, although co-authored submissions are welcome.
Abstracts will be evaluated based on:
- Originality and innovation
- Relevance to the conference theme
- Coherence of panels and overall program balance
Selected participants will be notified by 15 July 2026.
Please note that travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the organizers.
