General Rules

General rules for the organization and operation of the Advanced Course in Gaming Law and Sports Betting
  1. The enrollment is considered firm and definitive only after payment of the course, according to the applicable modality;
  2. The existence of any debt implies, among others, the non-issuance of declarations and/or certificates (including those of course completion), the non-disclosure of classifications, and the deprivation of the services provided by the UCP, namely access to the library, the use of the parking areas, the discount at the bookstore;
  3. The course is held online;
  4. The program, dates, and time schedules shown are tentative, all of which can be changed and adjusted before and during the course;
  5. The operation of the course is conditioned to the existence of 20 effective enrollments, and it can be canceled until the day before it starts, and the auditors will be reimbursed for the amounts paid;
  6. Absences will only be justified for reasons of grief, hospitalization of the person himself or a minor child, and legal impediment.

The data collected in this form will be processed and stored electronically and eventually on paper.

The information provided will be treated confidentially and used exclusively for the purposes of enrollment in the Advanced Course in Gaming Law and Sports Betting and subsequent school management.

Your personal data are only provided to entities that Universidade Católica Portuguesa has subcontracted to provide services necessary for the provision of information, for the management of digital platforms, or other services or support. There may be data transfer to external entities, to comply with legal obligations.

4. Purposes and fundamentals of treatment
UCP processes your personal data for the purposes of enrollment in the Advanced Course in Gaming Law and Sports Betting and subsequent school management, as mentioned above.

The period of time during which the data are kept and stored varies according to the purpose for which the information is used and for the necessary period, in accordance with legal requirements, namely the archival retention periods.

6. Your rights as a holder of personal data
As the holder of personal data, you may exercise, at any time, the following rights: right of access, right of rectification, right of erasure, right of limitation of treatment, right of portability, and right of opposition to the treatment. 8. Contractual requirement
The communication of personal data is a contractual requirement, in order to allow the purpose for which the treatment is intended. Failure to collect the requested data hampers the enrollment in the Advanced Course in Gaming Law and Sports Betting.
