Rômulo advises in environmental litigation, focusing on consensual negotiations of conflicts and issues related to sustainability, environmental governance, climate change, and water law. He also specializes in the practice of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), being a pioneer in the Brazilian legal market. Rômulo represents clients before state, federal, and superior courts, working in cases of national relevance before the Brazilian Supreme Court. He is a member of the Environmental Law Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB-RJ) and dedicates himself to academic life as a regulatory law professor at the Getulio Vargas Foundation School of Law in Rio de Janeiro, teaching also at master’s and doctorate degree programs. He is also an adjunct professor at Pace University, in New York, and a visiting professor at Georgia State University College of Law, in Atlanta.
