This course provides a deeper and more analytical understanding of the duty to indemnify. Circumstantial analysis of hypotheses that test the structure of the duty to indemnify and call upon scholarly and judicial debate enable students to consolidate and develop their understanding of the theory and practice of indemnity. As is the case in Anglo-Saxon legal systems, the duty to remedy is granted autonomy, due to its relevant effects on the application of the law. Thereby, studies in civil liability bring a reflection on compensation into the study of its prerequisites.
