Invited Lecturer at Católica | Lisbon School of Law since 2019, where she earned her Undergraduate Degree (2017). She is currently doing a PhD in Criminal Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University.  She has a scholarship from Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia. Her research areas are focused in Criminal Law and Juvenile Justice Law. Sofia Cabrita worked as a lawyer for the law firm Serra Lopes, Cortes Martins & Associados and is currently an advisor at Supremo Tribunal de Justiça.
