Raquel Barradas de Freitas completed a DPhil in Law  (Jurisprudence) at the University of Oxford in 2014. She was Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow at the Law Department of the European University Institute, in Florence (2017-2018) and Research Lecturer in Jurisprudence and Public Law at Trinity College (2019-2020) and Balliol College (2020-2022), Oxford. She is an advisor to the President of the Portuguese Constitutional Court and Visiting Professor at Católica School of Law and NOVA School of Law (Lisbon).
