Gonçalo de Almeida Ribeiro, Professor at the Católica | Lisbon School of Law, is since yesterday, April 26, 2021, Vice-President of the Constitutional Court.

Judge Counsellor at the Constitutional Court since 2016, the professor was elected at the Plenary of the Constitutional Court.

At the age of 39, he was chosen to succeed Pedro Machete, also a professor at our Católica and in office since February 2021.

For the Presidency of the TC, the judges elected José João Abrantes, whose term will end in 2025.
