Within this course, students study the array of means available to companies to finance themselves and adapt them to the stage in the company’s life cycle. Among the topics approached are equity, including risk capital, debt, hybrids, structured financing or the additional specificities of group companies and financing within corporate restructurings. Students also analyse a set of alternative financing solutions, including crowdfunding or initial offerings of virtual currencies (ICO or crowdsale, inter alia).
