In this course, students take a closer look at the characteristics and unique features of the Portuguese constitutional oversight system from a dual perspective: historical and compared. The course also establishes a connection between articles 277 et seq. of the Portuguese Constitution and the Law of the Constitutional Court, gives an overview of the overarching trends in case law emanating from the Constitutional Court and promotes direct contact with the Court.
