This course aims to endow students with specialised knowledge in the relationship between Law and Sports. In this way, the student gains skills in the rules inherent to this general social phenomenon, while acknowledging in that binomial a space of legal plurality within society, where the public and private coexist. On the other hand, the student masters some of the most important sports structures – sports organisations such as sports federations, professional leagues, sports clubs or sports companies – as regards their legal framework. Also, the overarching nature of sports itself makes it necessary for the course to reference an array of other fields of Law, making it a space of constant legal flux.
