This course aims to analyse the main areas in which the issue of the State’s and other public authorities’ duty to indemnify plays out at present. The course is structured to better study some of the greater theoretical, dogmatic and constitutional and legal tensions arising therefrom. The proposed method is based on dialogue between students and the teacher, often based on judicial rulings, which kick-off the discussion of each specific issue.
