First instance judge since 1998. She got her Undergraduate Degree on Law (1994) and her Master’s Degree on Civil Law (2010) in Faculty of Law of Coimbra, where she is also continuing her studies in order to obtain a PhD on Civil Law. She was a member of the Portuguese High Judicial Council (2010-2013) and president of the District Court of Leiria (2014-2017). She is currently a trainer in the Portuguese Judicial Academy since 2017, in Civil Law, Civil Procedural Law and Commercial Law. She has researched and published works in the fields of Civil Law (Tort Law and Causation), Civil Procedural Law and Judicial Organization. She was an international short-term expert in Judicial Statutory matters (2012-2016).
