Undergraduate Degree in Law (1989), Master’s Degree (1994) and Doctoral Degree (2012) from Universidade de Lisboa, in the field of Legal Sciences. Assistant Professor at the School of Law of Universidade de Lisboa. Senior staff member at the Portuguese Securities Commission (CMVM), advisor to the Office of the Governor of Macau and advisor to the Office of Constitutional Court Judges. She is currently a technical consultant for the Portuguese Central Bank. Member of the Board of the Portuguese Securities Institute (Instituto de Valores Mobiliários) since July 2001. She has published works and has been a speaker at conferences and courses in several fields, namely civil procedural law, constitutional law and securities law.
