Graduated by the Law School of Universidade Nova de Lisboa, post-graduated in Commercial Law by the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, having earned a masters in Corporate Legal Sciences from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Catarina Brito Ferreira is a partner of the corporate and capital markets team and a Co-Coordinator of the Infrastructure Practice of the law firm Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados - Sociedade de Advogados, SP, RL. She has developed her professional activity in the areas of commercial law and in the sectors of Energy and Infrastructure. Most of her professional activity has been advising national and foreign clients in merger and acquisition transactions and most of her work is focused in Energy Law, where she has not only acted in mergers and acquisitions transactions, but also renders regular legal advice in regulatory matters and assists the global structuring and execution of Infrastructure Projects, focusing on renewable energies and energy innovation.
