Ravi Afonso Pereira

Ravi Afonso Pereira is a doctoral candidate at Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, where he also obtained his law degree in 2004. His research interests are in the areas of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and European Constitutional Law, having authored books and articles in Portugal and abroad. He was a visiting researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law (2006, 2007-2009) and at Yale Law School (2007), and a doctoral research fellow at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2006-2007). From 2009 to 2016, he served as a law clerk at the Portuguese Constitutional Court and currently as an adviser to the Portuguese Ombudsman. At Católica he teaches a course on Fundamental Rights & Constitutional Justice.
